Urban Scars

Issue One

October 03, 2018 by hindsight

Our inaugural issue considers the value of infrastructure projects in a handful of cities across the world, including Vancouver, Seattle (depicted above), Toronto, New York, Chicago, Paris, and Sydney. We present both an historical and contemporary viewpoint on the topic of urban infrastructure and what it means for the future of our cities. Richly illustrated with rarely seen archival photographs, our first issue challenges the reader to reexamine what are often seen as urban scars. Issue One is now sold out, thank you for your support!

“Even something deemed an eyesore may be the best reminder of how we have historically chosen to build and move within our cities.”
